Updates - 12/24/01

Can you believe it is that time of year already? Wasn't Christmas of 2000 just last week? well my friends 2001 is coming to a close and I wanted to take this opportunity to wish all of you and yours the happiest of Holy Days and health and prosperity in the new year.

Last year my new years resolution was to get this book Question of... on shelves for you read. We are getting there. It won't be available for Christmas as I had anticipated however we are going to have it for late February or early March. I talked to the guys down at the publisher this month and the Galleys look good. The pics are the way Nick and I want them and we are BACK on schedule for the first time since God Knows When!

By the way, speaking of Nick Smolenski! Nick's Band HEIDNIK was signed to a label this month! Their first full length CD will be available sometime at the beginning of the summer on 2 Damn Hype Records! Congrats to my lifelong buddy and his crew. If anyone knows Nick, they know he deserves this opportunity! Look for them on tour this summer at a venue near you! (If your on the East Coast.)

Sean and I have been performing a lot since my last email. We spoke at The Point in Bryn Mawr in November and it went fairly well. Flavor In Your Ear II was a success as we brought some light to the world of Philadelphia at Club HP. We WILL be doing a FIYE 3 on January 29th. We will be featuring some new artists including Mary Neid, Brian Turner, Christy Ridgely and Tony the Poet. I think Nick and Mike will be there playing an all new acoustic set and of course, Sean and I will be slamming and performing. If you are in the Philadelphia area, the admission is FREE so come hang, drink some coffee and have some knowledge dropped on you.
